In 1994, I was going through pencils and paper rapidly. I stopped at a local art center to replenish my supplies and met the owner who was interested in what I was doing. I met with her later and showed her my drawings, she asked if I would like to teach at her art school. I leaped at the opportunity, it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Teaching art inspired me in ways I had not touched on. My exploratory drawings started to take on images, subjects, and stories.
Making each drawing is a journey in itself, as well as the journey/story the drawing tells.
The drawings presented here are "energy drawings" that found a story.
